The Wayne County Emergency Management Office, has created plans that are accessible by the public to enhance their knowledge on operations of the county before, during, and after a disaster.

Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan

The Wayne County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP) (PDF) is a multi-discipline, all-hazards plan that establishes a single, comprehensive framework for the management of major emergencies and disasters within the County. The CEMP establishes the overall roles and responsibilities for emergency operations, as well as the concept of operations for the County.

Hazard Mitigation Plan - 2022

The Hazard Mitigation Plan (PDF) is an effort to reduce loss of life and property by lessening the impact of disasters.  Mitigation plans are key to breaking the cycle of disaster damage, reconstruction and repeated damage.

Radiological Emergency Preparedness Plan - 2022

The Wayne County Emergency Preparedness Plan provides planning and response measures in the unlikely event of an accident at the Robert E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant.
