Wayne County Waste Haulers Reporting and Registration

Local Law 7-1989 requires that all waste haulers who operate within the boundaries of Wayne County, New York must register annually (See License Application below) with the County Planning Dept. and must provide quarterly reports on the tonnage of solid waste and recyclables collected. 

Documents pertaining to this law, along with rules and regulations, annual license application and quarter report are linked below. Once registered and licensed, each waste hauler will be sent  county-issued vehicle identification stickers for each waste hauler vehicle registered. The list of items required are as follows:

1. Annual License Renewal with applicable fee ($25 per waste/recycle hauling vehicle)
2. Annual Certificate of Insurance Coverage (County is NOT an additionally insured entity.)
3. Quarter Reports (Due the month following the end of the quarter.)

Documents can be emailed to our office or sent by regular mail. Checks must be mailed.
